First and foremost, a laundry needs to be practical, and it’s not a room that you would generally associate with being beautiful. Having completed this space though, I can honestly say that I think this laundry is gorgeous and I love catching a glimpse of it as I walk past!
When designing this space, we wanted to capitalise on the beautiful easterly morning light, and a Wideline louvre window was the perfect choice. The patterned floor tiles have long been a favourite of mine, and work well with the simple white cabinetry and timber details. I love the timber hanging rail and will no doubt be incorporating this into our next laundry design.
