When I was setting up our Airbnb ‘Toowoon Bay Studio’, I began searching for some cool surf posters, but I couldn’t seem to find any that were true to our style.  Many I found were either super cliched, or the colours were just too bright and lairy.  I was also on the hunt for posters that would be suitable for a boy’s or girl’s bedroom – being pregnant at the time, and keeping the gender a surprise – I was after some kid’s bedroom artwork that moved away from the current Scandinavian nursery trend.

So the solution was to create some ourselves!

I set about gaining colour inspiration, and have collaborated with local artist Katherine Hall from Design & Opinion to create a series of surf posters.  You may recognise these as we’ve used some of the range in Long Jetty Renovation and it’s been encouraging to hear so many of you loving the prints!  Thank you to all who have enquired about purchasing – the online store is almost ready and we can’t wait to officially launch at the beginning of 2018 so stay tuned!
